Never stored in the browser. Cleared from memory after authentication.

A label that identifies this specific call. Both callers must enter the same room name.
Not secret — security comes from the passkey. E.g. primary, alice-bob.
Privacy
Video and audio travel directly between devices (P2P), encrypted with DTLS-SRTP.
The server only routes the connection setup — it never sees your media.
